LGU SUPPORT TO PACAP PROJECT

Anda Mayor Paulino Amper assures officers and representatives of Bacong Women’s Association, Candabong Farmers Association and the Badiang Fishermen Association that the Municipal and Barangay LGUs will support the Community-Managed Eco-Tourism project despite the phase-out of AusAID assistance starting next month. The three-year project under the Philippines-Australia Community Assistance Program (PACAP) ends on June 30. In a meeting last June 3, the Municipal Poverty Reduction Action Team (MPRAT) headed by Aida Visaya, municipal planning and development coordinator. The Bohol Local Development Foundation (BLDF) has been developing tour destinations in the municipality in coordination with the local tourism office and the project secretariat, the Bohol Association of NGOs (BANGON).
