Accomplishments to date
* Implementation of a British-funded project on Strengthening Local Governance for Effective Service Delivery and Sustainable Economic Growth
* Implementation of an Eco-Cultural Project with assistance from PACAP, AusAID
* Implementation of the Organic Systems Project with assistance from PACAP, AusAID
* Implementation of the Kalahi Cultural Services Project for the Poor in cooperation with the National Commission on Culture and the Arts;
* Establishment of the household poverty database system in East Timor and Solomon Islands ; San Fernando , La Union; Lucban, Quezon; Habitat-EU Peace Build Project in Mindanao
* Revision of existing methodologies on the conduct of poverty profiling, action planning and monitoring;
* Development of a software to make poverty database preparation and monitoring a less tedious and costly process;
* Provision of technical assistance in the conduct of household poverty surveys for the province of Bohol and Tagbilaran City with a combined population of 1.26 million;
* Establishment of Household Poverty Database Management Units at provincial, city and municipal levels;
* Formulation, in coordination with the Bohol Provincial Planning and Development Office, of the Provincial Program Framework on Poverty Reduction as common basis for project identification, preparation of local plans, and monitoring plans, programs and projects;
* Conduct of training for local planners, community organizers, and project implementers on skills related to poverty-focused development planning, implementation, and monitoring;
* Conduct of orientation and advocacy activities in support of poverty reduction for a broad range of clientele: members of the Cabinet; officers of national, regional and provincial government agencies; Mayors and other local political leaders; military establishment; NGOs, church groups, academic institutions and private sector organizations; and multilateral and bilateral donors;
* Establishment of linkages for joint undertakings with the
